Aly Saad Aly博士于2022年加入天津大学佐治亚理工深圳学院(GTSI),担任ECE专业的助理教授。他也是佐治亚工学院的ECE专业兼职助理教授。他分别于2005年和2006年获得南佛罗里达大学电子工程学士和硕士学位。2016年,他在加拿大滑铁卢大学获得了系统设计工程博士学位。他的博士工作重点是生物医学应用的芯片实验室(LOC),如芯片上细菌细胞裂解和DNA分离。

Aly Saad Aly博士在其博士后期间加入了杜兰大学生物医学工程系。在杜兰大学工作期间,他与一组研究人员合作设计并制造了一个用于神经生理学研究的便携式平台。随后他加入河南大学迈阿密学院电子工程系。在加入GTSI之前,Aly Saad Aly博士是大邱庆北科学技术院(DGIST)的研究教授。在DGIST工作期间,Aly Saad Aly博士的研究工作集中于细胞分离/纯化、基于水凝胶的免疫细胞化学平台以及增强神经细胞髓鞘形成和肌少症治疗的电化学方法。Aly Saad Aly博士在工业环境中工作,他参与了几个专注于微电极阵列(MEAs)的项目:设计、模拟和制造;诊断和实时图像引导手术x射线生物成像系统(如C形臂和U形臂);集成到光学成像系统中的便携式电化学生物传感器的设计、模拟和测试。

Aly Saad Aly博士的研究兴趣集中在生物医学应用中基于微流体的LOC;基于纳米技术的电化学和生物传感器;基于纳米颗粒的用于病毒和癌症治疗的智能药物递送系统;2D生物材料与重要生物分子的相互作用,用于生物传感器相关的应用和设备。
